Ersties.com is a German platform known for its authentic, inclusive, and playful approach to intimacy. Building on this philosophy, the brand launched PIF (Personal Intimate Fantasies), a dating app where people connect through shared fantasies rather than traditional matching criteria.
For this project, I created a series of original illustrations that define the visual tone of the app and accompany the user experience.

The project consists of a set of hand-drawn vector illustrations developed to visually express the core idea of the platform: connection through imagination, play, and intimacy.
Using a minimal two-tone palette (black and red), the illustrations depict characters interacting, communicating, and exploring fantasies in a light, playful, and non-explicit way.
The goal was to evoke intimacy and curiosity while maintaining a friendly and approachable tone.
Visual Language
The illustrations are built from simple shapes and expressive outlines, creating a style that feels both graphic and human.
The limited color palette reinforces the identity while ensuring strong visual impact in a digital environment. Red introduces warmth, sensuality, and energy, while black provides contrast and structure.
This approach allows the illustrations to remain clear, recognizable, and adaptable across the app interface.
Applications
The illustrations are integrated throughout the mobile experience, including:
onboarding screens • interaction moments (matching, conversation, connection) • interface highlights and micro-narratives • promotional and product communication.
Solution
The illustration system helped create a distinctive and memorable visual universe for the app.
By combining minimal graphics with playful storytelling, the visuals translate the platform’s spirit — inclusive, curious, and human — while clearly differentiating PIF from more conventional dating applications.
